Wandering in Delhi – The Historical Monuments of the Place

New Delhi is the capital city of India and also one of the famous cities for exploring the rich history and architecture of the place. I always wanted to visit the city for its amazing culture, food and monuments. This time I planned a trip in advance for the journey and made all arrangements for the trip. There are many airlines that have direct and good flights in this sector for the passengers.
Economy Class Flight from New York to Delhi
One of the best airlines in this sector for the passengers which serves good meals and beverages along with mazing in-flight entertainment services is Turkish Airlines. The airline is the national carrier of Turkey and the one with amazing flying record. It has won many awards and distinctions for its on board services and facilities. I booked the tickets in advance and saved a lot of money on the flight fares. The economy class of the airlines is one of the easiest options of travelling in the sector.

The flight departs from JFK airport in New York at 1.30 pm. The flight served world class meals and beverages. The entertainment system of the airlines also had great movies and music collection for the passengers. The seats of the economy class of the flight were comfortable with extra leg space and big seats. The flight had a stoppage in Istanbul and then a direct flight to New Delhi.
The flight reached the New Delhi International Airport at 5.15 am. There was a cab waiting for me at the international arrivals at T3 of the airport. I had booked one of the best hotels in the city for the stay. The hotel I booked was Hotel Yuvraj Deluxe, a famous 2 star hotel of the city. The facilities and services at the hotel are one of the finest making our stay amazing.

The hotel has its own in house restaurant that serves good food and beverages to the guests. The bar of the hotel is also good with amazing collection of drinks and wines. Some of the other features of the hotel that I liked were,

- Foreign currency exchange facility
The Iconic Monuments of the City
I enjoyed the stay in the hotel and also visited many new places and monuments all across the city. Some of the historical places that I visited in the city were Gurudwara bangla Sahib, Humayun’s Tomb and India Gate. The Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is the religious shrine of the Sikhs and one of the most peaceful places in Delhi.

Humanyu’s Tomb is the grave of the Mughal ruler of India. The architecture of the place is majestic and the garden surrounding the place is equally world class. I also paid a visit to the iconic India Gate. The Gate is the national monument of the country. It is dedicated to the soldiers martyred while fighting for the country. The place is very crowded with visitors from all parts of the world.
The trip to Delhi was a great experience that I will cherish for a long time.
